Ben Jenkins of One Fast Buffalo was the featured speaker tonight at The Depot at VCUArts. He was speaking about is trials and travels as a designer and just how he has achieved a good WORK / LIFE balance. It’s always good to get another perspective and see what similarities you have with other designer’s and how they have achieved a measure of success. As a firm believer of the “less is more” mantra, I got a kick out of his need to purge some of the excess stuff out of his world! His Warstic baseball bats are a really nice use of design in an area you wouldn’t normally think of for innovative graphic design work.
